It feels like the walls are rotating,
Like you’re falling down
The rabbit hole,
Like the Martians are hovering
To take you away.
When you’re surrounded by shelves
On every side
Is the door your escape
Or the book?
This page is dedicated to the 31-Day Poetry Challenge I completed back in October 2016 to raise funds for my local Proprietary Library in Plymouth. My endeavor raised £175 for the library.
